Route

You will ride on flat, well-maintained bike paths throughout. On some days, you can choose between a longer and a shorter bike tour. Please note that the shorter bike tour may not include all of the highlights listed.

Day 1: Amsterdam
Individual arrival in Amsterdam (transfer from the airport to the hotel included). You will be welcomed by your tour guide at the hotel and get to know your fellow travelers in the afternoon. Your trip starts with a little highlight: a guided canal cruise through Amsterdam’s beautiful canals.

Day 2: Amsterdam – Utrecht, approx. 10 km
After your first night at the hotel, you will start your first bike tour through the charming neighborhoods of Amsterdam. Your luggage will be taken aboard the Magnifique X and after your tour, it’s time to cast off and head for Utrecht. In the evening, you can look forward to an exciting lecture on Dutch history and geography.

Day 3: Utrecht – Dordrecht, approx. 32-56 km
A day full of contrasts awaits you: after breakfast, you will cycle to Schoonhoven, famous for its silversmithing. The route continues through the vast polder landscape of Alblasserwaard to Kinderdijk, famous for its 19 historic windmills (UNESCO World Heritage Site). On the way, you will enjoy a regional “Taste of Holland” lunch. In the afternoon, the water bus will take you across the river to Dordrecht, where your Magnifique X will be waiting for you.

Day 4: Dordrecht – Antwerp, approx. 20-36 km
Today, you will cycle leisurely through forest and meadow landscapes to the modern Kreekrak lock on the Belgian border. Back on board, you will enjoy a peaceful river cruise to Antwerp. On the way, you will learn more about the upcoming stages during a presentation. In the afternoon, you will reach Rubens’ hometown – famous for diamonds, Renaissance buildings, and its historic Grote Markt. The evening is at your leisure.

Day 5: Antwerp – St. Amands, approx. 34-49 km
Spend the morning getting to know Antwerp. A visit to the Red Star Line Museum (included) will shed light on the history of European emigration. Day 6: St. Amands – Ghent, approx. 52 km

Day 9: Bruges – Paris | Bus trip
Today it’s time to say goodbye to the crew of the Magnifique X. You will board a comfortable coach that will take you to Paris in around 3 hours through varied landscapes.
