Free afternoon to visit this charming town, known for its long stone-masonry tradition.
Breakfast and morning sail towards the longest Croatian island - Hvar with a view of the Biokovo mountain range. Today’s starting point is a small picturesque bay Pokrivenik. Start with the ascent to the highest point of the route and the descent to the eastern point of the island of Hvar - Sućuraj, where the ship is waiting. After lunch on board, sail towards the second largest Croatian peninsula, Pelješac, and the charming settlements of Lovišta or Kučište. Optional captain’s dinner on board.
The third day’s ride could be called the wine panorama route. After breakfast, drive to Orebić, the city of seafarers and captains. The first few kilometers of ascent followed by descent with unique viewpoints of the Korčula archipelago. After Orebić, you will ascend to the area where the most famous varieties of Croatian wines are produced. Cross the Dingač tunnel to the southern side of Pelješac and continue through vineyards to Trstenik.
During breakfast, sail from Trstenik to the island of Mljet, the lush green island also known as the Honey Island. Mljet National Park (entrance fee to be paid on the spot) is a beautiful area with a unique charm, featuring two interconnected saltwater lakes, lush flora, a unique appearance of the indented coastline, cliffs and numerous islets, and evergreen plants of the surrounding hills. Cycle around the saltwater lake, which contains another island with a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Refreshment in saltwater lakes and return to the boat for lunch. Sail to Korčula. Afternoon free to explore the city of Marco Polo.
After breakfast, start with the longest route of the week through the whole island of Korčula. Climb to the village of Žrnovo and then to the oldest settlement on the island – Pupnat, the highest point of the route. Descend to the south side of Korčula and drive along the road between one of the most beautiful bays on the island with steep cliffs above it. Continue through numerous olive groves and vineyards, one of the most famous grape varieties Pošip. Short break in the charming village of Smokvica, halfway through the route. Descend to the sea and stop at one of the numerous hidden pebble beaches for a refreshing swim. Climb to the lookout point above the town of Blato, followed by the last descent to our destination - Vela Luka.
Early morning sail from Vela Luka to the town of Hvar, breakfast. Short sightseeing tour of Hvar, a fairytale town with its architecture, beautiful nature and mild climate.
