You cycle on mostly paved, well signed long-distance cycle paths as well as on quiet side-streets (only short sections are ridden on main roads). Several longer sections are ridden on natural paths in good condition.

Tlhe fjord-like Sylvenstein dam in the Isarwinkel can easily be mistaken as a Canadian mountain lake – the panaroma is breath-taking!

The Tegernsee Lake offers its visitors a fantastic nature experience, whether one would like to enjoy the view over the enchanting Tegernsee or enjoy the unique mountain panorama. On the way back to Bad Tölz you can pay a visit to the Reutberg monastery in Sachsenkam, which is situated in a nature reserve.

­Along the Isarradweg you cycle in the direction of Munich. Today’s stage in the capital of Bavaria is filled with sights seeing. Enjoy the view from the south tower of the Frauenkirche (ascent included)! The return journey from Munich to Bad Tölz is made by Oberlandbahn (excl.).

The turquoise blue waters of Lake Kochelsee and Lake Walchensee are inviting. In the Franz Marc Museum, you will find world-famous works by the “Blauer Reiter” group of artists. Return trip with a view of the onion domes of the 1,250-year-old St. Benedikt Basilica in Benediktbeuern. Alternatively: A leisurely tour leads to Lenggries and the local Brauneck mountain (approx. 25 km) with a fantastic view of the Karwendel mountains (ascent/descent on your own).

­The second largest lake in Bavaria is also called „Munich’s bath“, due to its proximity to the provincial capital Munich. There are many old villas and small castles in the region around Lake Starnberg.
