In Linz you can taste the Original Linzer Torte during a visit to a coffee house in the picturesque old town. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a three-course dinner in the city center or at the hotel restaurant.

This section offers a lot to see: Enns, the oldest city in Austria, untouched meadows and orchards until you finally reach Ardagger. Tip: The Ardagger Abbey’s spice factory offers all kinds of regional delicacies. In the evening, enjoy a 3-course meal featuring hearty, traditional Mostviertel cuisine.

Today’s tour is enjoyed by cycling through the fascinating landscape of tall and densely wooded rock formations on both sides of the Danube. High above the Danube is the Pilgrimage Church of Maria Taferl. The evening ends on a sophisticated note: at the Hotel Schachner’s gourmet restaurant, you’ll dine with a view—of both the plate and the valley.

The magnificent Melk Abbey marks the beginning of the world-famous Wachau wine region. You’ll cycle past numerous wineries through picturesque wine-growing villages such as Spitz and Weißenkirchen. At the family-run Schneeweiß Winery, you’ll tour the wine cellar and taste award-winning Wachau wines. At the widely renowned hotel restaurant, you’ll enjoy Wachau delicacies as part of a 3-course meal.

You cycle into Krems from where you depart by train. After arriving in Tulln, you will ride your bike for the last time on this tour directly through the Vienna Woods (Wiener Wald) and pass through "The Gates of Vienna". Along the way don’t forget to stop in and visit the impressive monastery in Klosterneuburg and then continue on to "The City of Music": Vienna. A visit at the k&k Hofzuckerbäcker Demel is the sweet end of your bike tour.In the evening, enjoy Austrian delicacies at the hotel restaurant or in a traditional Viennese tavern.

Before leaving Vienna, make sure to visit the famous Naschmarkt (international foods/goods) and stop by the well-known leisure park “Prater”. Extension at Vienna or train ride back to Passau (Season 1+2) or comfortably by bus (season 3).
